Victory Ashaka embarked on an international trip to Europe for a Youth Leadership Exchange Programme and performance with fellow Lagos youth leaders to the capital city of Finland. This opportunity was a rewarding testament for the many years of working passionately in the development space as a social impact maker, coupled with the privilege offered by the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development for him to serve as a Lagos State Youth Ambassador. The highlight of this transformative journey was being enrolled for a leadership programme and becoming a certified leadership fellow of the Management Institute of Finland, with crucial topics such as: Lean Thinking, Designing Projects with Impact, Community Project Implementation, Future skills in Leadership Communication and Possibilities of AI in Projects & Business, just to mention a few. Investment in education and human capital development is one of the most powerful assets for the growth of every thriving society. Also, this initiative was a nudge to keep developing a global mindset, to maximize every experience and knowledge gained in Helsinki, and to drive social changes with expertise for the progress of his community.
